Allie & Alex | Engagement Session

Once upon a time there was a little girl. The little girl was beautiful and kind. She was hilarious and had such a great spirit. Her hair glistened in the sun and she was absolutely fabulous. Everyone loved her. One day, the little girl was sitting at the table eating breakfast when her Mom told her that she was going to be have a baby sister.

The photos you are about to see are of the baby sister and her future husband. (See what I did there?)

In all seriousness, it is an honor to present the engagement session of my beautiful, kind, hilarious and spirited little sister. She is one of my best friends and such a beautiful light in my life. Her presence can make a large, empty room feel cozy. Her smiles are contagious and her heart is so caring and pure. It's no wonder that she found a man who absolutely adores her. Allie and Alex (Alexandra and Alexander, by the way!) are a perfect fit. They can finish each others sentences. They have a connection so deep that they can communicate with just a glance at one another. They have inside jokes for days and they compliment each other perfectly. Oh sugar! I better leave some of my sweet comments to myself or what am I going to say in my matron of honor speech? ;) One super fun thing about having a little sister named Alexandra marrying a man name Alexander is that there is zero suspense on what your future niece or nephew will be named. Alex, Alexis, Alejandro? Just kidding guys... except for the niece or nephew part... I expect them and sooner, rather than later. xo

We had so much fun strolling the streets of Charleston, South Carolina. It was the perfect way to spend a somewhat gloomy afternoon and get to see my sister and her fiancé in their lovey dovey element. Charleston is such a gorgeous city with beautiful architecture, palm trees, waterfront parks, cobblestone streets and horse draw carriages. Bliss!
