Nicole & Michael | Outer Banks Wedding

When Nicole and Michael's daughter contacted me about capturing their wedding vow renewal I wasn't sure what to expect. I've shot very simple vow renewals before and they are always so FULL. They are filled with love, years of memories and love but also years of hardship and trials. Vow Renewals just feel different from weddings. After years of marriage it is truly beautiful to watch a couple recommit themselves to each other in front of their family and friends.

Nicole, Michael and their family and friends gathered in Buxton, NC for their ceremony and a great party. We had lots of weather hiccups but even when it started to sprinkle highly during their ceremony they continued their vows. Isn't that the way a marriage is? No matter what the weather, if you are determined and love one another...you continue your vows! I just LOVED being there to capture this page in their love story!
