Mitch & Chloe | Pittsburgh Wedding
I'll be honest. When Mitch, a lifelong friend of mine, called me and asked me if I would be willing to shoot his wedding in Pittsburgh, I was hesitant at first. Beach weddings and quick elopements are more my style but I knew I couldn't pass up the chance to capture Mitch and Chloe's wedding day.
Growing up, the Anderson family was always a pillar of love and light. They have never met a stranger and I'd put money on the fact that if you're reading this, the Anderson family has impacted your life in some way, shape or form. I have about a thousand amazing memories of this family and the (original) Mrs. Anderson was a second mom to just about every kid in our hometown. So when Mitch introduced me to Chloe about a year ago, I wasn't surprised to see that he found a girl with a smile that lights up the room and a heart of pure goodness.
I started off the wedding day hanging out with the wedding party and capturing the little details. The joy and faithful expectation was so beautiful and I was instantly thrilled that I was able to be a small part of their day.
The wedding ceremony at Northway Christian Community in Dormont, Pennsylvania was one of the most beautiful ceremonies I have ever witnessed. Watching their Pastor pray over them as they took communion and the musicians played will always be a highlight of my life and my career. Muffled giggles at the alter as he whispered, "you're married" to Mitch and Chloe was so cute and so authentic. In case you were wondering, it's difficult to shoot a wedding with happy tears in your eyes but I think I pulled it off. ;)
With over 200 loved ones in attendance, and just minutes after they were married, Chloe and Mitch were focused on getting a shot of everyone.
We headed back downtown to capture portraits and dance the night away!
Their wedding party was so much fun and it's certainly not a surprise that it was so large because Mitch and Chloe are such beautiful people. They are both hilarious and giving and kind. Individually they are smart and driven and lovable but together... together they truly have it all.
Congratulations you two! Cheers to 100 years of happiness! I love ya both to the moon and back. xo-Audra
